The Bomber. The classic sandwich with a complex history, investigated by The Ithaca Voice. Inspired by The Stinger sandwich from Buffalo, popularized as The Bomber at Rogan’s Corner. Once it hit the menu, it became the best seller. Now you can have it as a sub, pizza, or hero.
“My favorite sub in the area “The Bomber” - It’s basically a Cheese steak and a Buffalo chicken in one sub. A couple places in the area make something similar, but Rogan’s is the best. Always friendly staff and great to go drink options. Also the only gas station I’ve been to that has beer on tap. So if you want, they have some tables and you can have your sub or pizza with a beer right there. They even have a couple of TV’s and can have a spontaneous crowd watching a game and having a beer (kind of an odd site for inside a gas station the first time you see it.”
